The Great British Sewing Bee fans were left unimpressed as the show was taken off TV schedule on Tuesday night. The BBC One hit show usually airs at 9pm but it failed to air in a schedule change. The popular sewing competition was removed to make way for the BBC's Wimbledon coverage.
Viewers will instead get a new episode Wednesday evening on BBC One at 9pm. Sharing the schedule change, the show’s official Twitter account told fans: "Sorry to burst your bubble: Sewing Bee is on tomorrow instead of tonight!" As expected viewers were left fuming with the update as they went straight to the comment section to share their reaction. One user said: “Why????? Replacing it with the Repair Shop makes no sense at all.

What time and which channel - BBC1 or BBC2?” while someone else fumed: “I’ve been annoyed about this all day, since I read the tv schedule this morning. I could understand if they’d taken it off for the football (although I’d still have been furious) but for a repeat of the Repair Shop? What’s that all about?” Another viewer commented: “Everything I like is getting moved or postponed due to footie, tennis or election.
” As another wrote: “Nooooooo! I need my weekly fix now!!!” While someb.
