Alison Hammond reveals The Great British Bake Off 2023 winner Great British Bake Off winner Matty Edgell has praised his "stunning wife" as he tied the knot on Friday 31 May. The 28-year-old baker shared a number of sweet images on his official Instagram page to mark the occasion. The first photo shows Matty and his wife Lara walking away from the South Farm wedding venue, whilst another photo shows the pair signing paperwork to legalise their marriage.
A third snap shows Matty dancing with his wife and hugging her whilst laughing. He added the caption: " Signed, sealed and delivered. she can’t turn back now! We had a the best time celebrating our special day with the people we love the most.
Thank you so much to everyone who came, you made our day what it was. Ps. How stunning does my wife look?!" Many of his 440,000 followers couldn't help but comment on the delightful photographs.
Fellow Bake Off star Dan Hunter commented: "congratulations!!!! But where was my invite! looks like you both had an amazing day so chuffed for you, Lara looked amazing, and you don’t scrub up too bad yourself! Hope the head wasn’t too bad the next morning haha! Gutted we couldn’t make it catch up soon to celebrate pal." Another contestant Keith said: "Fantastic evening - thanks for the invite.
