“Just sitting there, with his thoughts. “Like a MF psychopath.” Many of Denyer’s Instagram followers were stunned that he managed to get through a 90-minute flight without looking at a device.
“I’ll be on a plane to Perth later today. This has reminded me to pack headphones,” one follower wrote. “Why are you even allowed on board?” joked another.
“No headphones, no phone? “Did anyone ask if you were OK?” “As an ADHD-er with a fear of my internal thoughts, this sounds like my hell,” observed another. “Don’t do it! Distract! Distract!” wrote a third. But others said they might try the technology-free approach the next time they fly.
