Gig-goers weren't happy at this year's Glastonbury Festival. From sound issues during SZA's headline slot to overcrowding on the festival site, some were left reeling after the annual event at Worthy Farm, Somerset . Dua Lipa and Shania Twain were amongst other stars with sets plagued with audio errors during their set.
Despite complaints, Glastonbury is still returning next year – but it won't happen in 2026. Organiser Emily Eavis detailed plans to cram two years into one next year, with improvements set for 2025. "We're already in talks with some acts," Emily explained.
Detailing issues with this year's festival, attendees took to Reddit with their complaints. One explained: "It's getting way too much. The biggest problem is how the artists don't seem to be strategically placed across the stages.
They have popular bands on small stages or don't consider how the crowds will move from one headliner to the other." The miffed-off music-lover continued: "Generally, stage capacity is fine bar a few bad decisions, the problem lies with moving around the festival. It gets intense quickly and has overwhelmed most of the people I’ve attended with.
" "Wider paths or less enclosed stages would probably help," they added. Another wrote: "I'm bar staff at the festival and I don't even know where to begin with how bad everything has gone for us. The conditions of our camp, the food, the shifts.
" It was during SZA's televised set that most fans spotted the festival's audio issues. "Omg .
