A woman who is a person of small stature says people's attitudes towards her do hurt, yet nothing is going to stop her from achieving and enjoying her life. In fact, she has inspired many smaller women to try more adventurous fashions, and says to 'use your assets to your advantage'. Cait Hellyer, 23, lives in the Forest of Dean and is a marketing student at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

Cait was diagnosed with having Achondroplasia when she was just under a year old, as her parents noticed her younger cousin was growing much faster. According to the NHS website: ""A rare genetic condition called achondroplasia is the most common cause of DSS (disproportionate short stature) where the arms and legs are particularly short. It causes poor bone growth, resulting in short upper arms and thighs.

It doesn't always run in the family – many children with achondroplasia have parents of normal height." Cait who was born in Plymouth, moved to Gloucestershire to be with her partner. They have been together for two years, and she has said she really does love having relocated to the Forest of Dean.

Cait said: "I am in my third year of uni studying marketing, and alongside this I work doing modelling and glamour modelling. I am a fashion blogger as well and write about fashion for those people of short stature. "Fashion is very important to me and I like to find and write about clothes which are suitable for little people and ladies of short stature.

Growing up I real.
