GIOVANNI Pernice appeared stoney-faced as he returned to work amid the ongoing Strictly Come Dancing probe surrounding his conduct. The Italian dancer, 33, cut a glum figure as he left the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tumbridge Wells following his return to stage with Strictly judge Anton Du Beke. The pair have been touring up and down the country as part of the Anton & Giovanni Together show.

Gio appeared solemn as he left the venue after the show amid his recent troubles. His co-star Lauren Oakley was also snapped leaving the theatre alongside him. They had just performed for fans who had snapped up tickets to see them despite it being revealed that Gio and Anton were forced to flog tickets on seat-filler sites in a bid to sell out venues.

It is the first time the star has been spotted since his lengthy fruit-machine session was revealed by The Sun. The dancing pro was spotted enjoying cigarettes outside a dingy amusement arcade where he is thought to have blown £1,000 in one go. It is understood Giovanni is a regular at the venue and was snapped heading inside after enjoying a smoke at 9:45am earlier this week.

He spent nearly an hour inside, pumping cash into his favourite gambling machines, before heading a few doors down to Admiral Casino. Sources told The Sun that Gio, who is at the centre of a bullying probe on the BBC dance show, spends hundreds of pounds in Silver Time in West London, and that he popped in three times last week. He is thought to have lost £1,000 durin.
