As the pair feared that his were growing out of hand again, Liz attempted to have an intervention with him while picking up their their shared daughter.
Amid her growing fears, she emotionally told Chase: "I can’t subject my children to what’s happening with him right now." And as Elizabeth's concerns grew, Finn's daughter also expressed her disappointment with her dad. As she walked into her father's living room, she caught her dad intoxicated and passed out on the couch.
After waking him, she asked if they were still on for their original plans as he promised that he would take her to the pool. After realizing he must have been drunk at the time and forgotten the conversation, Finn apologized but said he was too tired - or too hungover - to go.
