FUNERAL details of Armagh teen who died after horror fall from cliffs of Moher have been announced as heartwarming tributes pour in. Lochlann Murray, 17, tragically lost his life after falling into the water on July 5. The Armagh teenager was visiting the Cliffs of Moher when he suddenly fell into the water.

Emergency services then sprung into action with crew from Rockcorry Divers and the North Coast Search and Recovery unit rushing to the scene. The diver team began their search around 12:30pm, but the teenagers body wasn't recovered until 3:30pm. It is believed that terrible weather conditions with large swells and rocks made it far more difficult for divers taking part in the search operation, as they had to also worry about debris falling from above.

After he was found, the Armagh teenagers body was taken to the Coast Guard station in Doolin Clare. Lochlann's funeral will take place on Thursday, July 11 at St Brigid's Church Glassdrummond, with requiem mass taking place at 11am. The teenagers burial will take place afterwards in Creggan Cemetery.

His death notice describes him as being the beloved son of Jodi and Kieran, Devoted brother of Hannah, cherished grandson of Lochlann and Maeve Murray and Dear nephew of Aislinn, Aoife, Clare, Miceal, Niall, Michael, Bob and Sherri. The Armagh teenager was known in Crossmaglen for being a big sportsman, including playing GAA and boxing. Heartwarming tributes have poured in for the death of the teenager.
