Beginning today, Jetstar launches a fresh flight path connecting Brisbane to Melbourne Avalon Airport, creating an accessible entry point to the celebrated Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula of Victoria, in addition to the city of Melbourne itself.
This new daily route, serviced by the Airbus A320, introduces more than 2,500 economical seats each week between these metropolitan areas. As part of a significant partnership with Brisbane Airport, this service will provide around 500,000 extra seats yearly to some of Jetstar’s prime international destinations from Brisbane.
