HEADING off on holiday often means its a hand-luggage only kind of trip – which means space for liquids will be limited. So, I’ve put three skincare travel kits to the test to see which is best. Byoma Brightening Starter Kit, £14.
99, cultbeauty.co.uk: No matter your age or skin type, you can’t go wrong with Byoma.
The brand’s Brightening Serum is one of my favourite skincare products so naturally I think this set is great. As well as the serum, it contains a cleanser and a rich moisturiser that’s great for sun-parched skin. But you will need extra products as the cleanser isn’t great at removing stubborn make-up, and the travel sizes are on the smaller size so won’t last much longer than a week.
A great budget option, but you get what you pay for. Farmacy Beauty Farm Fresh Bestsellers Kit, £38, spacenk.com: I have incredibly dry lips and can’t leave the house without slapping on some lip balm, so I very much welcomed the addition of one in this kit.
On top of that, it includes the only balm cleanser I’ve tried that doesn’t break skin out, and everyone I’ve ever recommended it to has come back with high praise. Plus, there’s a great moisturiser and a vitamin C-rich eye cream which is great for brightening the under-eye area and reducing dark circles. The sizes are perfect for a week or two away, and as they’re all pots they are easy to refill and reuse with products from my stash for future trips.
I’d definitely buy again. Elemis X Shrimps Travel .
