Landrum—Frances Mae Page, 84, of Landrum, SC, went home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Her family and friends celebrate the wonderful life she had here, but know that the celebration with those that passed prior is glorious. Fran was born in Big Springs, Texas, on September 9, 1938, to the late Lona and Hood Parker.
On July 19, 1958, she married the love of her life, Larry Robert Page. Frances supported Larry as he chose a career in the US Army and raised their family. Their adventure presented many opportunities that included an overseas stint in Japan.
Fran lived in 34 different places during her lifetime, not including their five years of being full-time RVers. Fran is survived by her husband Larry Page of Landrum, SC, her children Robert Page (and Jewell) of Spartanburg, SC, Robin Siegel (and Howard) of Charleston, SC, Rhonda Grigg (and Tim) from Portland, ME. There are seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lona and Hood Parker, and two brothers, Junior Parker and James Parker. Fran had a passion of giving of herself through volunteering. She was a member of the Landrum Methodist Church, The Cottages of Landrum Book Club, and a volunteer at the local hospital, St.
Luke’s Memorial. Over the years, she influenced many through her volunteerism at local museums, church, PGA at Kiawah Island, Military Chapel Youth Program, Officers Wife’s Club secretary, taught computer classes at the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Fran loved s.
