A British lad has cheekily revealed how he jetted off to a in Germany and it only cost him 74p more than popping down to one in the UK. Callum Ryan, a 23-year-old content creator from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, took the plunge and flew to Berlin's Reichstag on June 26 to prove to fellow England supporters that such an adventure doesn't have to break the bank. He snagged a bargain two-hour flight with Ryanair from East Midlands airport straight to Berlin Brandenburg International airport for a mere £32.

95. After landing, Callum grabbed a €4 (£3.39) tube ticket straight to the heart of Berlin, where he hooked up with a mate, hit the shops and soaked up the local sights.

The savvy traveller did his homework and compared the cost of a fan zone ticket at Box Park in Shoreditch, London, which would set you back £32.21, to the free entry fan zones in Germany clocking in the whole German escapade at just 74p more than a London jaunt. Callum said: "My plan was there to be there for a day and experience the fan zone and the city.

" He even managed to score a meal deal for €8 (£6.78) bagging a hotdog and a beer, which he reckons is a steal compared to London prices. "My friend Louiz from Berlin showed me around all the different fan zones in the city.

We also took the opportunity to do some shopping." The atmosphere in the German fan zone didn't disappoint either, according to Callum. He added: "The atmosphere was amazing.

The people were all in good spirits and felt exactly.
