As the sunshine becomes ever more prominent in our weeks, many will be taking to parks and gardens to soak up some of the good weather - and some will be hoping to reap the rewards of their blooming gardens. If you're a lover of a flower field, fancy picking some fresh blooms and making a day of it, or simply want to walk among an array of stunning colourful flower fields, there are a number of them nearby. Some reside in or around Bristol , while others take a longer commute to get to.
Some boast tulips, others lavender, and many have pick-your-own sunflower sessions. Many places also feature cafes, farm shops, unlimited strolls through the flowers, activities for children, and plenty of photo opportunities. We've picked out a few of our favourites below.

This year's opening dates are June 28 - July 7, with tickets on sale from June 18. The team at the popular confetti shop and flower fields say: "Preparations are well under way for the event, but growing flowers can be a difficult thing! Farming is at the mercy of the weather. Consequently, we always hold off selling tickets until we are 100% .
