Tuesday, May 28, 2024 FLO, a prominent EV charging company in North America known for its intelligent charging solutions, will provide 41 FLO 100kW SmartDC fast chargers to Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) on behalf of local Co-ops within the Co-operative Retailing System. These chargers will be installed at 23 different locations throughout British Columbia, creating a comprehensive highway charging network across the province. Starting this summer, FLO chargers will be set up at Co-op retail locations.
Once the deployment is complete, the fast chargers will enhance charging accessibility at both urban and rural sites, contributing to British Columbia’s efforts to reduce emissions. FCL is a multifaceted business engaged in agriculture, food, energy, and home and building sectors. In addition to supplying DC fast chargers, software, network operations services, and the FLO Performance warranty program, FLO will also manage site construction, installation, and maintenance. The FLO Performance warranty program ensures that subscribers have peace of mind by guaranteeing 98% uptime for charging ports covered under the warranty. If the station’s uptime falls below this threshold, warranty holders are entitled to a 50% refund of the annual warranty fee.
