5 million to $12.5 million with Colliers Residential director Ian Bennett. Mr Bennett has received multiple enquiries since the launch, including a high level of interest from buyers in Newcastle.
He also anticipates interest from the Sydney market. "We have quite a few people that we are talking to and a lot of it is local," Mr Bennett said. "We have gone into our databases in Sydney with some of our high-end projects, so we could get a purchaser out of Sydney, but most of it has been local.
" A display suite will be available to view at the Colliers office in Honeysuckle in the coming weeks. The two penthouses occupy the entire rooftop of the property at 21 Parnell Place which Sydney-based developer WINIM paid $13.75 million for in 2021.
Combining hotel, retail and residential, the development is positioned at the 1106 square metre site of the Newcastle Beach Hotel. The north facing penthouse, Sand, is the largest of the two with a floorplan of 417 square metres and views toward Nobbys headland. "The views for the northern penthouse will be all the way to Fort Scratchley and across to Stockton and all the way up to Birubi Bea.
