FUMING Britain’s Got Talent fans have begged bosses to change the format after the final was extended by 15 minutes tonight. The ITV series - which has announced its return next year - aired its grand finale on Sunday night. 2 Britain's Got Talent fans have hit out at the show as they moaned about the format during Sunday's final 2 Ant and Dec hosted the finale from London's Hammersmith Apolo Just minutes into the show there were groans on social media from irritated viewers.
One raged: "Here we go.. time for Britain's Got Adverts Every Sodding Ten Minutes.
" Another said: "I assume #bgt was extended by 15 mins so more adverts could be put into the runtime." Others didn't enjoy the ads that aired, with one writing: "Come on @ITV having an advert in the middle of #BGT advertising a lady shaver, shaving their privates? Really?" Elevenfinalists all took to the stage for one last time tonight in a bid to win the top prize of £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance later this year. Singer Sydnie Christmas was favourite to win, and performed her own song, I’ll Go Home, at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Alesha, 45, and Amanda, 53, dazzled on stage in metallic dresses alongside Simon, 64, and Bruno, 68.. Comedian Alex Mitchell had odds of 4/1 ahead of Sunday's grand finale, with dance-duo Abigail and Afronitaa at 7/1.
