A vasectomy is a reversible procedure to cut the tubes that carry a man's sperm to prevent pregnancy. Jamie Oliver, 48, has revealed future plans to get a vasectomy as he nears towards his 50th birthday The professional chef, who shares five children with his wife Jools, ruled out anymore children despite admitting 'everything still works' Ahead of his 49th birthday in a few days, Jamie appeared on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X to share his future plans. He said: 'I think I probably need that operation! It's a good time, but in my head I'm still in my twenties.
'I'm now the oldest parent in River's lot. And like, I can't age them. So you're sitting there talking to a parent, and then the references aren't quite keying in, and you're like, "dude, how old are you?" He's like, "32".
' He added: 'I'm like, "damn, man. I'm like 16 years or whatever it is older than you". But the music references are all different, the bike references are all different, the fashion references are all different.
But you know, it's all good. I'm still alive!' It comes after Jamie admitted that he prefers chef rival Gordon Ramsay's meatball.
