To the Class of 2024, it has been a tremendous joy to serve as your superintendent during your senior year and be part of your educational journey. It has been inspiring to witness your triumphs at sporting events, school performances, competitions, and each and every day in our classrooms. Thank you for your hard work and dedication as you have left your mark on Farmington schools.
You each have a bright future ahead and I wish you all the best,” he said, then introduced Mineral Area College President Dr. Joe Gilgour. “Mineral Area College has served this community for 100 years and we are proud to be your community college,” Gilgour said.
“This partnership we have with Farmington School District–every year we celebrate students who are graduating with both their high school diploma and their college degree at the same time. Farmington is our largest school that does this, and we have more graduates from Farmington than any other school district and so we’re really proud of that.” Northern said, “A teacher noted that as a freshman, our winner stood out as a truly dynamic force in every regard, described as fearlessly honest, unfailingly compassionate, and possessing a rare knack for delivering the trut.
