The main mode of transport most people use in London is the Underground - known as the tube. It might be a bit confusing the first time, but London's tube map is actually very easy to understand. Each line is a different colour and has a different name.

The Elizabeth Line, which opened a few years ago, isn't actually classed as a tube line but does connect with the Underground. The Docklands Light Railway, or DLR, also connects with the network.

 You can use the same ticket across all of these lines. The map is split into six 'zones.' Most of the attractions you'll want to visit are in zone one, but you might venture further out.
