Planning a European city break for 2024? New research from the luggage storage experts at Stasher has found this year's best-value European destinations. The team analysed data from KAYAK, Hotels.com and Numbeo to find the best options for a weekend getaway.

The cheapest destination came in at under £550 for a weekend and it looks like it could have fallen out the pages of a book of fairytales. At the other end of the scale, Zurich in Switzerland was the most expensive destination for a city break. Have you visited any of these cities ? Let us know in the comments.

10. Valencia, Spain The only Spanish destination on the list, Valencia came in at £675 for a weekend break. The coastal city offers the perfect mix of beach, culture and history and has fewer crowds than popular Barcelona.
