A NEW bus journey has launched in Europe, connecting five countries along the way. Founded in 2011 in Munich, the coach company has expanded in the last decade to provide services across the UK, Europe , North America, and Brazil . After transporting more than 83million passengers in 2023, the low-cost German coach company has earnt its moniker as the "Ryanair of the Roads". According to the Finnish Newspaper Ilta Sanomat , Michal Leman, who is the boss of FlixBus Finland, Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic countries, the idea from the new route came from the popularity of the Vaasa-Warsaw service.
The new route is slated to launch in August, starting in Rovaniemi before calling at destinations in Estonia , Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Journeys will last 39-hours, with stops expected to last around 3-15 minutes. It is hoped that the new service will run seven times a week, with tickets starting from €148 (£125), including the price of the ferry ride from Helsinki to Tallinn .
