Emmerdale: Samson demands more money from Noah After weeks of telling lies, Samson Dingle (played by Sam Hall) is set to clear Matty Barton's (Ash Palmisciano) name in forthcoming Emmerdale scenes. As fans of the ITV soap will know, Matty is currently being remanded in prison after Samson told the police false allegations over the recent incident at The Hide. Samson was accidentally injured during an attempted robbery at the bar and restaurant last month.
The teen's friend Josh Cope (Osian Morgan) encouraged him to lie and say that Matty stabbed him on purpose, which sparked a feud among the Dingles. But next week, Samson speaks to the police after his step-mum Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) piled on the pressure. This week's episodes see Lydia realise that Samson is lying about what really happened on the day that he was stabbed at The Hide.
