Nicola and Jimmy are still adjusting to life without their daughter Angelica (Rebecca Bakes), who is in a secure children’s home after being responsible for Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) death in January. A positive distraction is exactly what Nicola and Jimmy need right now and next week, it’s time for the village fete.
In this new video, Jimmy leads Nicola outside after alluding to his partner that he’s got something to show her. As she opens her eyes, Nicola is amazed to see villagers setting up their market stalls down Main Street, with colourful bunting decorating the entire road. Jimmy then hands Nicola a megaphone so everybody knows she is in charge, of course.
As this heart-warming clip continues, little Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) makes his way through the street with Minty the lamb tied to a lead. Moira (Natalie J Robb) doesn’t seem too happy with Isaac treating Minty like a pet, but the family will face a massive drama during their afternoon when they learn the lamb has gone missing. These scenes will air during Emmerdale’s 10,000th episode.
