The airline claimed the titles for Best In-Flight Entertainment and Best Premium Economy, reaffirming its commitment to passenger experience.
For the ninth consecutive year, Emirates bagged the Best In-Flight Entertainment award, lauding its cutting-edge ICE system. Pioneering seat-back videos for economy flyers in the early 1990s, Emirates has continuously elevated its entertainment offerings. The ICE system now boasts an impressive 6,500 channels, showcasing a diverse range of content across 40 languages, including over 45 Academy Award® winning films, 5,000 on-demand entertainment options, and live TV channels such as BBC, CNN, and Sky News Arabia.
Passengers can also tailor their entertainment experience pre-flight through the Emirates app, syncing their preferences seamlessly upon boarding. In late 2021, Emirates rolled out its new Premium Economy on select A380s, subsequently embarking on refurbishing 110 A380s and 81 777s. The ongoing cabin retrofit program, now encompassing 191 aircraft, originally targeted 120 planes, with 22 A380s already refurbished.
The upcoming plans include revamping First-Class cabins, introducing new Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, and adding 24 Premium Economy seats, enriching the premium travel choices for passengers..
