Brooks has held various leadership roles during his 29-year career with the company, and currently serves as group VP, controller and corporate strategy. He will replace Anat Ashkenazi, who stepped down from her roles of executive vice president and chief financial officer on June 5.

Ms. Ashkenazi will remain at the company through the end of July 2024 to facilitate the transition of her responsibilities, after which she will join Google’s parent company Alphabet ( GOOG ) ( GOOGL ) as its CFO.
