EIGHTIES pop icon Dougie Vipond has married his stunning wife at Andy Murray's five-star hotel in Dunblane. Deacon Blue's Dougie, 57, revealed that he and his girlfriend Fiona got married earlier this week. The Scottish star shared his wedding snaps on social media, with his new wife wearing a beautiful white off-the-shoulder gown.
Dougie opted for a navy suit and beige suit trousers for his wedding day look. In one photo, the newlyweds starred adoringly at each other and in a second picture Fiona beamed as he placed a kiss on her cheek. He captioned the post: "So this happened yesterday.
..Fiona Barratt made me the happiest man in the world when she agreed to be Mrs V.
" His fans were delighted for the happy couple, with one writing: "Congratulations Dougie! Wishing you both a long and beautiful life together!" "Congratulations and great choice getting married at the Cromlix Hotel too," a second said. A third added: "Huge congratulations Dougie! Incredibly happy for you both." The drummer turned Sportscene presenter was married previously to opera singer Elizabeth McCormack, with whom he had three sons Finley, Angus and Hamish.
But he's found a second chance at love with Fiona. Beaming, the happy couple looked smitten as they posed for pictures outside of Andy Murray's 16-bed Victorian mansion in Dunblane. The group is known for a string of 90s hits.
