Article content Throughout her time at AOB, Morgan has been deeply involved in various activities and achieved notable accomplishments. As a member of the Grad Council and a frequent reader at assemblies, she has contributed to our school community by fostering a spirit of unity and celebration. In athletics, she has been a dedicated participant in cross country and swimming, earning the title of MVP in cross country for the past three years and qualifying for provincial championships this past year.
Musically, Morgan has played in both the jazz and concert bands, where our band class won first place in the CBC Class Challenge during her Grade 10 year. Academically, she has consistently achieved the highest average in grades 10, 11, and 12. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the French horn, running, camping, and travelling, especially to Vancouver Island, where her family spends cherished time by the ocean.
Commencement address: As we look ahead, the future holds a multitude of possibilities. Some of us may have a clear vision of the next steps, while others may still be figuring it out. Whether pursuing childhood dreams or new ambitions, one thing I’ve learned in high school is that plans can change unexpectedly.
It’s important to remember that we are not expected to make the perfect choice right away. Reflecting on our high school years, we recognize that we haven’t always made the best decisions. Each of us has made mistakes, but these do not define us.
