The former This Morning presenter's recent lack of social media updates about his wife has raised some eyebrows recently. In a new post, Eamonn shared a throwback and current photo with his showbiz pal Linda Lusardi, who is known for her work as an actress, TV presenter, and for glamour model.
Holmes captioned it: "1982 v 2024 and she hasn't changed a bit. My wonderful, close friend Linda Lusardi who I went to see today," he wrote, proudly noting their "42 year friendship." Instagram Fans didn't hold back their thoughts, the Mirror reports, with one asking: "Where is your beautiful wife Ruth! Why or what are you trying prove!" Another expressed concern with a simple "Poor Ruth.
" Yet, another fan defended Eamonn, suggesting: "'trying to prove' or simply sharing a picture of a longterm friendship that's lasted all these years .. how do you know it wasn't Ruth taking the picture.
." A supporter countered the negativity, applauding the long-standing friendship: "Why see the negative in this? They have been friends 42 years! Amazing achievement!!"
