Dylan Paul Johnson, age 55, of Munger, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at his home, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born June 15, 1968, in Virginia, MN, son of Lee Kurt & Elaine (Korpi) Johnson. Dylan graduated from Eveleth High School in 1986.

He was a valued member of the swimming, baseball & football teams. He remained an avid sports and outdoor enthusiast throughout his life. He graduated from Bemidji Tech College for carpentry.

Dylan married Susan Randall on June 14, 1997, in Duluth and they built a beautiful life and family together. Dylan was a proud father of his children and family, and a dedicated friend. He never failed to light up a room with his charm and easy-going personality.

He worked as a cabinet maker at Hermantown Millwork for 23 years and was a very talented & skilled craftsman. Dylan loved woodworking, hunting, fishing on the Vermilion River, and his kitties. He was extremely generous with his time and talents, often tinkering & fixing things for those he loved.

Dylan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lee. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children Raija and Matthew; brothers Kurt (Denise Endicott) Johnson and Robert (Mary)Johnson; sister Diana (Al) Pederson; in-laws Beth (Paul) Hyser; nieces, Heather, Michelle, and Mae; nephews Haakon, Luke, Levi and Shawn; as well as their numerous extended family members. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 5-7 p.
