DUBLIN Airport have issued a major "sold out" warning for thousands ahead of the bank holiday weekend. The warning was issued for any passengers travelling from Dublin Airport over the weekend and hoping to park their cars on site. Dublin Airport warned passengers that their car parks are fully sold out for the long weekend.

Taking to social media, they said: "Our car parks are SOLD OUT for the coming bank holiday weekend. "Any passengers without an existing booking should plan to travel to the airport by bus or taxi - or get dropped off." The warning comes as around 450,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport over the June Bank Holiday.

Airport officials shared advice on getting to the airport for those who do not have the carpark booked. Buses run to the airport from all over the country. Stops are located close to the terminals so you won't have to drag your bags with you for a long walk.

Designated airport services Aircoach, Flightlink and Airport Hopper run from counties such as Dublin, Kerry, Clare, Limerick and Belfast. Other services run from other parts of the country such as Wexford Bus, McGinley Coach Travel and JJ Kavanagh. All bus routes serving the airport can be found on the Dublin Airport website.
