YouTube personality Dr Disrespect is losing fans, friends, and sponsors after admitting that he was banned from Twitch for messaging a minor. Dr Disrespect has admitted that the recent allegations, about him messaging a minor, are true, describing them as sometimes leaning ‘too much in the direction of being inappropriate.’ The bombshell statement has seen fellow streamers, sponsors, and fans shame the streamer, real name Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm, and revoking their support of him by posting comments and videos on social media and unfollowing him on YouTube .

So far, 41,000 fans have unfollowed Dr Disrespect on YouTube and Twitter, while streamer friends TimTheTatMan and Nickmercs have cut ties with him too. Since Monday, almost 11,000 fans have shown their disdain by unfollowing Dr Disrespect’s Twitter account, while 30,000 have unsubscribed to his YouTube channel. Nickmercs, who often played games with Dr Disrespect on stream, says he’s ‘torn up’ about the scandal, but is distancing himself from his friend.

‘I read through Doc’s tweet and in that very tweet he basically confirms that he was texting an underaged girl, and it went weird sometimes. Look, just to be blunt and straightforward, that’s inexcusable. [.

..] I can’t support it, I can’t defend it,’ he said in a video on Twitter.

Another streamer who frequently collaborated with Dr Disrespect, TimTheTatMan, says it’s ‘awful’ and he also won’t support the YouTube personality anymore. pic.t.
