The launch was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Delta President Glen Hauenstein, Port of Seattle Commission Vice President Toshiko Hasegawa, and Daniel Kuo-ching Chen, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle. Delta now offers nearly 170 daily flights from SEA to over 50 global destinations, solidifying its role as a vital coastal hub and primary gateway for trans-Pacific operations. The addition of the Taipei route complements existing services to Incheon, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
