Dakota has announced it will open a new luxury hotel at Manchester Airport . The award-winning hospitality group already operates a site in the city centre, which was recently named among the “best of the best” in the UK by Tripadvisor . Now the group plans to open a site at Manchester Airport, forming part of the MIX MANCHESTER development.
The hotel is set to offer “sophisticated accommodation, a destination bar and brasserie-style grill” with 154 bedrooms, 130 onsite parking spaces and an airport terminal shuttle. The site will feature the “outstanding service and stylish interiors” Dakota is known for. It will be conveniently located for both domestic and international travellers, with transport links right on its doorstep, including the M56, rail and the Metrolink .

The building has been designed by KPP Architects with Atseer Planning advising the planning process. The hotel is expected to open in 2026, subject to planning consent.
