A dad who was stabbed to death on the Essex border has been named as police investigations into his death continue. Josh McKay was described as having a "beautiful smile" before his tragic death on Sunday (July 6). Police were called shortly before 3pm to reports of a man stabbed on Lea Bridge Road in Waltham Forest.
Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended. Despite their efforts, he died at the scene. Although formal identification is yet to take place, detectives have today named him as 33-year-old Josh McKay, a father of two from Waltham Forest.
His family have been informed and continue to be supported by specialist officers. ” A special post-mortem examination is due to be held on Monday (July 8). On Sunday detectives arrested a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender. She remains in custody.
