Monday, June 3, 2024 Kivotos Santorini has recently introduced an exclusive Chefs Dinner series at MAVRO, its renowned restaurant. The series, led by the world-famous Chef Dimitris Katrivesis, features collaborations with top international chefs to create unique six-course tasting menus. These special events, scheduled monthly from May to October, take place at MAVRO, which is situated at the pinnacle of Santorini’s caldera in Imerovigli village.
The restaurant’s glass terrace offers a stunning 180-degree view of the iconic Santorini sunset, providing an ideal backdrop for these gastronomic gatherings. This initiative is part of the boutique hotel’s strategy to enhance its reputation as a leader in unique culinary experiences, inviting Michelin-starred chefs to contribute to MAVRO’s expanding international culinary prestige. The inaugural event on May 18th showcased a dinner by 1-star Michelin Chef Alex Dilling from London’s Hotel Café Royal, blending traditional and innovative cooking styles inspired by both local and global culinary traditions.
