A Connecticut-based company is partnering with a well-known American fashion and interior designer to bring what it says is “style and innovative vision” to a new hotel. Delamar Hotels , which has a West Hartford location, a Greenwich location and plans to open a Mystic location this fall , said it partnered with “acclaimed” designer, Christian Siriano , for an “exciting venture” at the anticipated Delamar Westport Hotel, slated to open later this year. “Siriano will spearhead the interior design for three signature suites and the hotel’s lobby,” according to the company.

The 86-room hotel is to open “in the heart of Westport” at 1595 Post Road East, Connecticut, taking advantage of the area’s many shopping venues, arts community, coastline, and restaurants, according to the company. The Delamar Westport will have 86 guest rooms, full-service restaurant, bar with outdoor dining and lounge areas, meeting spaces, private function rooms, fitness facility, and an indoor pool, according to the company. Siriano will “reimagine the hotel’s lobby” and “will infuse his distinctive flair into the interiors of three suites, including the prestigious 3000-square-foot presidential suite, elevating the guest experience to new heights of elegance and sophistication.

These suites will be called the Siriano Suites,” the company said. The company said Siriano’s designs have been worn by today’s “biggest names” including Dr. Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, .
