Though the Lakeway Area is thick with the heat of summer, Autumn is just around the corner and the time is right to start planning for the rites of fall. As such, planning is underway for Arts In The Park, “Art In The Heart of Hamblen County,” which will be Saturday, 21, 2024 from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Arts in the park is a celebration of visual arts—two-dimensional fine art, fine quality crafts, artistic photography, and sculpture.
Arts In the Park displays the work of Morristown Art Association Member artists and area local visual artists, artisans, and crafters as they showcase, display, sell, and demonstrate fine arts and crafts. The event will also feature live performances, great food and refreshments. In addition, the “Try Your Hand At Art,” and children’s activities will add to the festival’s appeal.
At Downtown on the Green & Farmers Market, the 17th Arts In The Park event will draw visitors and patrons from throughout East Tennessee and the surrounding area. Arts In The Park is an annual event of the Morristown Art Association, Morristown Parks and Recreation, and Rose Center Council For The Arts. Entry to the event is free.
Applications from artists and crafters will be accepted through August 28. Arts In The Park is a juried event. Every applying artist is juried.
