Countryfile's Adam Henson has taken to Instagram to share the bittersweet news of losing one of his beloved horses, Victoria, while also celebrating the arrival of a new foal. Posting yesterday afternoon (Saturday, June 15), the BBC presenter announced the "sad passing" of Victoria and introduced his followers to a new addition to the family. Adam uploaded an image showing a charming young colt grazing next to its mother Lexy, a chestnut Suffolk Punch.

The touching post was captioned: "After the sad passing of Victoria last week, I'm delighted to share the news that my #SuffolkPunch mare, Lexy, has given birth to a beautiful #colt." He continued: "He is doing extremely well and will be staying alongside Lexy with local expert #breeders to allow them to form a strong bond together, before joining us back at @cotswoldfarmpark. #foal #horses #farmlife.
