Milo has always fueled future champions and is well-associated with grassroots rugby, especially supporting future rugby players through its sporting events. Apart from supporting junior sports, Milo has signed a three-year partnership with the Fiji Rugby Union this month in support of Fiji rugby. Nestle Fiji general manager Tim Inkster said the partnership with Fiji Rugby Union was a natural fit for Milo.

“Milo is about fueling future champions and energising people and we certainly have a long history or association with sports – particularly rugby in Fiji,” Mr Inkster said. “This partnership with the union is a natural fit. We are extremely lucky to have come together with Milo being a loved brand and Rugby Union, particularly the Flying Fijians equally being a loved brand too.

“It only makes sense that we come together because we have that reputation – people are drawn to us, therefore it’s a natural fit.” He said their partnership is about getting up close and personal with the players. “We’re teaming up to bring fans closer to the game than ever before with opportunities for hundreds of Fijian rugby fans, from team gear and domestical and international test match experiences and more,” he said.

Fiji Rugby Union chairman, Peter Mazey said he was excited about the opportunities the partnership with Milo will create for their fans. “Through various events and activations, tournaments, bring unique experiences and interactions to our supporters,” h.
