CORONATION Street star Kimberley Hart-Simpson has told how a psychic has warned her to ‘cancel her year’ as trouble apparently lies ahead. The 37-year-old has made a dramatic return to Weatherfield, as her character, the former sex worker Nicky Wheatley, has come back to support her friend Daniel Osbourne, who has been implicated in the disappearance of Lauren Bolton. 4 Kimberley portrays Nicki Wheatley, a former sex worker on the ITV soap Now the actress has taken to social media to share the psychic's unsettling insight.

She says: “I went to a psychic reading yesterday and everytime she pulled a card she said, nooooo” and basically told me to cancel this year off, as its not going to be good for me.” Luckily her fans are delighted to see her on telly again after she was last seen on the ITV soap back in 2022 and recently the Sun revealed she was set to make a comeback. The Welsh-born star first arrived on the cobbles back in 2020 playing the role of sex worker Nicky.

She struck up a surprising friendship with Dan Osborne, after he enlisted her services following the death of his wife Sinead Tinker. Now that Daniel has been linked to the disappearance of Lauren, Nicky who has since turned her back on sex work to become an outreach worker, has returned to off her old friend support. Kimberley who now juggles acting gigs with furniture upholstery says she enjoys playing a strong woman.
