Over the past years, the blonde bombshell’s (played by Tina O’Brien) love life has been following her separation from her husband Adam Barlow. The couple separated after she dated and fell pregnant with TV bad boy Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) behind his back.
After he discovered her infidelity, the couple separated with the solicitor demanding a divorce. Since then, she has had an on-off relationship with Gary Windass behind his partner Maria Connor’s back. But viewers believe the TV favourite may have set her eyes on another resident in the village.
During Monday’s visit (May 27) to the ITV cobbles, Sarah was caught red-handed trying to plant evidence that could get her daughter Bethany Platt’s assailant arrested for her murder. At the start of the episode, Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) drove past the journalist, breaking her restraining order on him. But the builder argued that he didn’t break her order because he believed she still lived in London.
When Bethany reported him to the police, PC Craig Tinker confirmed that there was nothing they could do. It was at this point that Sarah decided to take matters into her own hands when she found one of Lauren’s bobbles in the Barlow family home, wrapped in strands of her hair. As she stormed over to the builder’s yard, the doting mum was caught red handed by new detective Kit Green moments before she hid the evide.
