Coronation Street fans think they spotted a clue about Lauren Bolton's sudden return ahead of it happening as share the same plea over Roy Cropper. The teen hasn't been seen since she suddenly disappeared from Weatherfield on February 23 after being sacked from her job at Roy's Rolls. The café owner later visited her with her wages and some extra cash to tide her over.
But soon after, the teen was visited at home by a mystery person, who viewers never got to see, and she hasn't been seen since. Roy then found himself being charged with Lauren's murder after blood was found in the flat his misguidedly cleaned as a favour to sub-letter Evelyn Plummer. But as Corrie fans have since found out, it was Joel Deering who was Lauren's 'secret boyfriend', giving her money and showering her with gifts, only to turn on her with flashback scenes in May showing him beating her with a chair leg.
