Coronation Street fans have made a prediction about newcomer Felix as he appeared intrigued by Paul Foreman's ill health. During the latest trip to Weatherfield, there were more heartbreaking scenes as Paul continues to navigate life with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Former builder Paul was told of the life-shortening disease, in which messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles, last April with there currently being no cure.
It means fans are preparing for Paul, and actor Peter Ash's exit, as his condition worsens. During Wednesday night's (June 12) Corrie, viewers saw Summer Spellman make her return from America and she revealed that she’s got a new boyfriend, Felix, who had come back to the street with her. After welcoming Summer home, she invited Paul and Billy to join her and Felix at the Bistro, but when Billy left Paul alone on the stairlift, Paul fell. Dr Gaddas made a home visit, insisting that if his injuries got worse he must go to hospital; but Paul refused to go. Later, Felix told Paul he found his MND diagnosis "fascinating", which immediately irritated Paul and he already wasn't keen on the new couple due.
