The storm will lose speed as the morning progresses, with showers and moments of steady rain sticking around through the afternoon while the system breaks down. Overcast skies, the cooler rain and 10 mph winds coming in from the north-northeast will keep temperatures cool across Boston today, reaching only the low 60s, so you may need a light jacket today.
