One of the victims of suspected crossbow killer Kyle Clifford had previously been in a "controlling" relationship with him, a devastated friend has said. Louise Hunt, 25, died along with sister Hannah, 28, and mother Carol, 61, at a house in the quiet cul-de-sac of Ashlyn Close and were found just after 7pm on Tuesday. Police launched a manhunt for Clifford, 26, warning he was armed with a crossbow.
He was later found on Wednesday afternoon in Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield with serious injuries and is yet to speak to police over the incident. Police said the victims were known to Clifford as more details emerged about his relationship with Louise. One friend said he put on a "nice guy" act but had been "controlling" with Louise.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed they had received no earlier reports after exploring whether there had been previous contact with Clifford or the victims, who were the family of BBC commentator John Hunt, as it emerged Louise was the ex-partner of the suspect. Footage from Sky News appeared to show Clifford being stretchered out of the Enfield cemetery by paramedics and a further clip seemed to show the suspect being wheeled into the Royal London Hospital.
