“The open house is geared toward explaining the Agora educational system, and the club.” The open house starts at noon and coincides with the group’s twice-monthly meetings that end at 1 p.m.
“Of course, we welcome people to visit us at any of the club’s meetings on the first and third Mondays of the month,” said Mark Walsh, the Agora Club vice president of membership. “They can come to see us in action, and even participate. The beauty of groups like this is the networking.
Look at how many of these members are part of the community.” The Kaua‘i Agora — Club 218 is currently 10 strong, including a pair of recruits. “The best part is it is free,” Loo said.
“We think that it is a big deal because with free membership, more of the community can join.” Walsh added that membership fees are often the obstacles to the skills being taught by communication skill groups. “If membership is free,.
