LAS VEGAS — As the Colorado Buffaloes celebrated their return to the Big 12 Conference on Wednesday, fans gobbled up the rest of the tickets to one game this fall. The University of Colorado announced that tickets for the Buffs' home football game on Saturday, Oct. 26, are sold out.

The game is Colorado's Family Weekend Game against the University of Cincinnati. This is the first sellout of the 2024 season. Fans interested who want to get tickets for the Cincinnati game will have to purchase them via CU's official secondary ticket resale partner, SeatGeek .

The Buffs' move to the Big 12 took its next step as the conference held its 2024 Football Media Days Wednesday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The 2024 football season is Colorado's second under head coach Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders. Sanders spoke at Wednesday's press conference.

Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders were also in attendance. This is the second time CU has sold out of season tickets before August of an upcoming season. The first time was last year. CU Athletics said that prior to last season, it had been 27 years since they last sold out of season tickets, doing so in a seven-year run from 1990-96.
