Christina Applegate wanted to set the record straight after sharing some "dark" thoughts she was having while living with (MS). The actress was with the autoimmune disease that can affect the brain and spinal cord. It causes a variety of symptoms such as mobility issues, partial or complete loss of vision, and balance issues.

On her podcast about having MS called, , which she co-hosts with fellow actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, she often is very and spoke about how often does not enjoy living. Applegate told Sigler this fact on a June 4 episode of the . Sigler is best known for her work on 's and was diagnosed with MS in 2001.

"This is being really honest: I don't enjoy living. I don't enjoy it," Applegate said on the episode, which had been recorded earlier in the year. "I don't enjoy things anymore.
