Wednesday, July 10, 2024 Choice Privileges® partners with IAG Loyalty, allowing members to convert points to Avios for flights and upgrades with British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, and Aer Lingus. Choice Hotels International’s acclaimed rewards program, Choice Privileges®, has announced a new partnership with IAG Loyalty, the company behind the global loyalty currency Avios. This collaboration provides its over 65 million members with expanded options for redeeming points for travel.
Members of Choice Privileges will now have access to a variety of redemption opportunities, including the ability to convert their points into Avios. These Avios can then be used for reward flights and upgrades with IAG airlines, such as British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, and Aer Lingus. The conversion rate for Choice Privileges points to Avios is set at 5,000 points for 1,000 Avios.
Avios can be redeemed for a variety of purposes, including hotel stays, experiences, car rentals, and charitable donations. Additionally, they can be used for purchases in the British Airways Highlife Shop and The Wine Flyer. Members of the BA Executive Club can also utilize Avios for British Airways Holidays.
