Students from the University of Chester are getting the chance to showcase their work at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet. The University and the Designer Outlet have partnered to display a selection of final year collections by Fashion Design students and up-and-coming graduates at the outlet. The students will have their designs featured in a pop-up showroom.

Visitors have the opportunity to view pieces from six selected Fashion Design students’ final degree collections at the pop-up space this month. The work will be displayed in a stand-alone retail unit, between the Converse and All Saints stores, from Tuesday, June 11 until Monday, June 17. Louise Morgan, one of the featured designers said: "Having worked so hard to create my first collection, the pop-up collab with Cheshire Oaks is such an incredible opportunity to meet and share collections with the public and will be a great way to celebrate the achievements and hard work put in over the last year.

" Jessica Rimmer, another final year Fashion Design student said: "The opportunity to be selected to showcase my Couverture, modesty-focused collection is an honour." A launch event with a live DJ will take place on June 11, kicking off at 6pm and running until 8 pm. The launch event is open to all, with guests including guests from top fashion brands and additional VIPs.

The pop-up space will be open to the public from 10am to 8pm each day. Delphine Wilson, programme leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Design at the University of .
